New or Used Copiers?

A lot of people assume that it will always be cheaper to buy a used copier and while it is definitely true that you should save money up front with a used copier, it could also be true that you will be at a disadvantage with a used copier in a lot of other ways. Ultimately you might end up spending a lot more money on trying to keep the used copier running at a proper rate than you would have on just spending more money up front on a new copier. Another problem is that older copiers may no longer be supported by the manufacturer and this could create problems with various programs that are run on the copier.

You should also make sure that if you are buying used copier that you will be able to get your hands on a warranty and service agreement. You should also make sure that you can get things like toner and ink cartridges for the older copier. This is not to completely talk you out of getting a used copier, it is just a reminder of the problems you might run into when buying one.
