When we first brought in a Kyocera TaskAlfa 300CI copier into our shop, we were a bit skeptical.  The prior generation of Kyocera color products did not impress us with their print quality.  The mechanical reliability was quite good, but the colors were very muted.  Our Kyocera dealer kept pushing us to sell the TaskAlfa 300CI’s and we were not too excited…  so when we got it in, we started off with a lot of hesitations…

We have gone through the color copier and found there have been vast improvements to the color quality and the drivers.  We still notice a few small quirky things when it comes to paper handling, but the average business would never even notice.  The speed of the copier for us here in San Jose is a bit slow to warm up as well.   Once it gets going though, it does a good job with the color and also getting a lot of copies done.  The other advantage to this specific copier is that the copier is quite cheap on the operational side of the equation.  This means your long term total cost of ownership is solid with this device.
